mr k and his computers

*sulking mode ON*

i am beginning to think that robert loves his computer more than he loves me. he sure spends more time tinkering on his computer than he does tinkering with me. ;) *what kind of tinkering, yah?*

the thing is that i don't mind him doing work on the computer; it's what he likes so i don't want to take him away from doing stuff he likes. i just mind that he doesn't have enough time to spend with me and time to work on his computer. it's got to be one or the other, and not both, and right now it seems like the score stands home network's 5 to yasmina's 0.

Get used to it! It's the same all over. Men and their hobbies. The computer doesn't talk back, or nag, is never demanding, or grouchy, and is always
interesting.

One tactic is to schedule time with your man. Arrange times and dates, and make sure he keeps his
promise to be there! Make sure he knows that you deserve equal time. You may have to arange it ahead of time, that's all. That's life with the opposite
sex.

yasmina says: haha, i showed this comment to robert and we both agree that if you know me well, you'd know that i'm not demanding, nor do i nag. and i happen to be a very interesting person ;) i'm not the type to arrange times and date actually. if there's a film or exhibition or concert i'd like to see, i tell robert that this is something i want to do, and ask whether he wants to come. if he doesn't want to join, fine, i go on my own or with friends. that's about as demanding as i get. i'm sure if robert had a blog, he'd complain about my habits. ;) perhaps, things like being more demanding and stop venting on my blog.

I did not mean to imply these things about you! I only mentioned them in a general way as possible reasons that some men retreat into hobbys from
some women. I know you are interesting and never nag! :-)
